Real Techniques Makeup Brushes
Im extremely excited to be reviewing these brushes. Ive had my eye on them for a few months now, ever since watching my favourite gurus on YouTube use them. I was even more excited to learn that one of the lovely ladies from the dynamic duo that is Pixiwoo, created these herself. I will only be reviewing the brushes that I have purchased and actually used.
Before I get into individual brushes, Im so happy to say that the bristles are made out of Taklon, a synthetic fibre which makes them 100% cruelty free. They are so soft and plush and feel great on the skin. The brushes are colour coded into 3 categories, Base, Eyes and Finish, and the aluminum handles are extremely light weight. The other bonus I found with these brushes is that they are multi-use. I recently purchased two of the collections and a few brushes on their own and am happy to say I will be purchasing more......VERY soon! The price of them are alot cheaper without compromising on quality, and would even say that they are comparable to some of the high end brands.

Core Collection
(From left to right)
Contour Brush - My favourite thing about this brush is that its smaller and domed. Really gets into the hollows under your cheekbones, and doesnt lay too much product down.
Pointed Foundation Brush - As I mainly use stippling/buffing brushes for foundation, I love using this brush if Im concealing larger areas(like a triangle under the eye), or if I want to put down creme contour(which I then blend out with another brush). This brush is soft but firm in shape so allows me to be more precise with where I put my contour lines.
Detailer Brush - I use this brush for concealing blemishes, and its great for covering redness in the creases at the side of the nose.
Buffing Brush - This is one of my favourite brushes. Alot of people will use this for powders or mineral makeup but I have to say I do use it for my cream foundation and it gives such an amazing flawless finish. Great for full coverage.

Starter Set(for eyes)

Base Shadow Brush - This is my favourite brush to lay down creme bases/primers
Deluxe Crease Brush - I love this oversized crease brush. It's great for contouring and one of my faves to use for blending.
Pixel Point Eyeliner Brush - I was even more eager to try this particular brush as I'd heard mixed reviews, but I have to say I love it! It does have a point, although not overly tapered, but I still find it extremely easy to use and have no problem achieving a pointed wing or cat eye. I love to use it for a thicker line too as this brush just glides so smoothly along the eyelid.
Accent Brush - I have two favourite ways of using this brush. To put down liner on the bottom lashline with eyeshadows for a smokier effect or thicker line. Also for a more precise line deeper in the crease(great for vintage looks).
Brow Brush - Great for precise application of brow powder. I also use this brush to create a template on the eye of where I want to place a more dramatic eyeline.
Stippling Brush
This is my absolute favourite brush to use to apply creme foundation. The best part about this brush for me are the shorter bristles. They are around 1/3 shorter than most of the other stippling brushes Ive used. This allows me more control over the entire application and allows me to buff deeper for a fuller coverage.
Shading Brush
This brush is the perfect size for applying lid colour. I have alot of clients with smaller lids, so this is perfect. It also doubles as a concealer brush for me.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow Review
If you're looking for a product similar to a MAC paint pot but without the hefty pricetag, then this is it. At $11.95, this is a bargain, and a little definately goes a long way. From my experience, this product doesnt crease like alot of others I have used. Best way to apply it is with your finger tips, or stippled on with a small but firm eyeshadow brush. Be sure to pat/dab on rather than dragging the product across your delicate eyelids. For those people with oily lids, I suggest using an eyeshadow primer.
I use it as a base to make other colours pop, but also on its own. Although the colours are vibrant, you can still get a subtle hint of colour if you want a more natural look by blending with a clean brush. I recently purchased Bold Gold and Audacious Asphalt and cannot wait to try the others. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do :-)

Lipstick Review
Kryolan Lip Palette 18-color 5228
This is my GO TO Lip Palette. This will be a permanent staple in my kit because it's long wearing and highly pigmented.
I can find or blend any shade to find the perfect colour to suit any look.
Some may find it a little too hard to blend, but i find taking a small amout that you need out and working it onto a stainless steel palette with a lip brush, warms the product and application is alot smoother. I do this anyway for hygeine reasons so I dont need to keep dipping my brush in the pan.
My favourite thing about this palette is that it has quite a few different shades of Red. Some people are more a blue red, some are more an orange red so I find this incredibly convenient when searching for the perfect Red for someone or when you want that gorgeous vintage look.
Ive literally tried all the colours and they are true to what you see in the picture. This is also one of my favourite lip palettes to use for brides.
I was super impressed with the price, you get alot of product for a very reasonable price. I paid only $48 for this palette. I will add the link to where I buy most of my cosmetics for my kit as it's my favourite place to shop.

Foundation Review
Graftobian Hi-Def Glamour Creme Super Palette
WARM
This is by far, hands down, THE best foundation I have used. Especially for when I do Bridal or clients for a photo shoot, it photographs beautifully and lasts all day and night. It's water based so doesn't dry out your skin.
It's super creamy without being overly thick. You can thin it out with a little water or thinner if you want just a sheer coverage rather than a full coverage. I do thin it out if I want to use the darker shades for contouring.
I personally use the warm palette above the most out of the 3(neutral, cool, warm) as I find it suits most skin tones. As strange as it sounds, blending one or two shades together has helped customise a perfect shade for someone who is more a "cool" shade.
The price was great. I paid I think around $67 for this palette and the great thing is if you run out of a particular colour, they do sell them individually for around $15.

I would highly recommend this product for its versatility, staying power and flawless finish. Also the size is perfect for any makeup case.
